• The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is currently observing two tropical disturbance zones in the Atlantic.
• The first disturbance, known as Invest AL99 and situated in the central Caribbean Sea, has a minimal likelihood of intensification due to the presence of dry air.
• The second disturbance, located in the central subtropical Atlantic, holds a probability higher than a coin flip of evolving into a subtropical or tropical storm.
• In the event that the second disturbance develops into a named storm, it will be designated as Vince.
• Importantly, neither of these disturbances presents a danger to the United States.
