We Vote, We Win: DNC Mobilizes Black Voters in Florida, Georgia, and More

The Democratic National Committee DNC has launched the We Vote, We Win bus tour, led by DNC chair Jaime Harrison, to rally Black voters ahead of the upcoming election in November.

The tour, beginning in Florida and stopping in key southern states like North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina, aims to promote Vice President Kamala Harris’s policies, particularly her Opportunity Agenda for Black Men.

Harrison highlighted the stark contrast between Harris’s focus on helping Black Americans and former President Donald Trump’s agenda.

Despite the push, polling shows Harris’s support slipping among Black men, with only 70% expressing their support, compared to 83% of Black women.

The gender gap is especially pronounced among younger Black men, with 25% indicating support for Trump over Harris.

Harris has been engaging Black media and communities directly, emphasizing that she is not taking any voters for granted and is committed to representing their interests.

Harrison praised her as a glass ceiling-breaker and noted that Harris’s agenda for Black men is unprecedented in recent presidential campaigns.
