A $1 million Mega Millions ticket sold on December 10 at a Wawa store in Bel Air is still unclaimed. The winner has until June 10, 2025, to claim their prize.
In addition, the Maryland Lottery reports that there are eight other unclaimed Mega Millions and Powerball prizes worth $10,000 or more.
As the Mega Millions jackpot approaches $1 billion, several Maryland residents have had big wins. Last week, five Mega Millions tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold, along with two notable Powerball wins—a $150,000 prize in Dunkirk and a $50,000 prize in Perry Hall.
The winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in Abingdon, Baltimore, District Heights, Prince Frederick, and Fort Washington, with many players hoping to win in the Christmas Eve drawing, which has a huge jackpot of $970 million.
The Powerball drawing on December 23 has a $103 million jackpot.
From December 16-22, the Maryland Lottery paid out more than $31.7 million in prizes across all games, including 34 tickets worth $10,000 or more.
