Travel Alert: U.S. Highway 20 in Idaho Closed for Snow Removal on Wednesday

It looks like travelers in Idaho will need to adjust their plans for the day. U.S. Highway 20 will be closed for several hours on Wednesday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., between Anderson Dam Road and Hill City due to snow removal and maintenance work.

This closure aims to ensure the safety of both workers and motorists, especially as more snow is expected soon.

If you’re planning on taking this route, it would be wise to check 511.idaho.gov for real-time updates on road conditions and consider taking alternate routes.

Additionally, Highway 21 remains closed due to avalanche danger, with conditions expected to be reassessed on Wednesday morning.
