A devastating accident on I-95 in Harford County has claimed the life of one individual and left many others injured after a party bus lost control and crashed into a guardrail.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning, with Maryland State Police reporting that the bus, carrying 24 passengers, veered off course near mile marker 77 along the northbound lanes of the highway.
Emergency responders from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company rushed to the scene, where tragically, one person was pronounced dead. The remaining 23 passengers were swiftly transported to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.
According to reports from the volunteer fire company, the party bus belonged to Just Becuz Entertainment, a Philadelphia-based company offering transportation services between Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C.
After several hours of closure, I-95 northbound in Harford County has since reopened to traffic. However, the aftermath of the crash has left a community in mourning and authorities grappling with the investigation.
