Tim Walz and Kamala Harris Rally Voters as North Carolina Early Voting Begins

The battle for North Carolina is heating up as both parties intensify their efforts in the crucial swing state.

Democratic vice-presidential nominee Governor Tim Walz is scheduled to visit Durham and Winston-Salem this Thursday, coinciding with the start of North Carolina’s early voting period.

His visit comes shortly after Kamala Harris held rallies in Greenville and the Triangle.

Walz, who previously visited Raleigh in August and Asheville in September, will continue the campaign’s blue wall blitz to energize Democratic voters.

During an interview with Good Morning America’s Michael Strahan, Walz defended President Biden’s record, acknowledging that while not everything was perfect, Biden acted in the best interests of the public.

As Walz prepares for his North Carolina stops, Republican JD Vance will also be in the state, marking his second visit in a week following his participation in the vice-presidential debate on October 1.

Adding to the Democratic campaign’s momentum, former President Bill Clinton is set to campaign in the state’s rural eastern region, aiming to rally support for the Harris-Walz ticket.

With North Carolina’s status as a key battleground, these high-profile visits reflect both parties’ determination to secure the state’s pivotal electoral votes.
