North Carolina Men Sentenced for Over 40 Kilograms of Methamphetamine in Oklahoma

SEQUOYAH COUNTY, Okla. KNWA/KFTA — Two men from North Carolina were recently sentenced for possessing over 40 kilograms of methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

Teon Raynard Robbins, 45, received a sentence of more than 24 years in prison, while Antwon Marquise Williams, 33, was sentenced to six and a half years. Both were convicted on federal drug charges.

The arrests occurred on March 1, 2023, when law enforcement stopped Williams and Robbins for speeding on Interstate 40 in Sequoyah County. During a search of their vehicle, authorities discovered over 40 kilograms of methamphetamine in 100 plastic bags, which were found inside three duffle bags in the back seat.

Williams pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine on November 29, 2023, and Robbins did the same on December 4, 2023. Both men will remain in U.S. Marshal custody until they are transferred to a Bureau of Prisons facility to serve their sentences, which are non-paroleable.

The investigations were conducted by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
