Mystery Surrounds Death of Sergeant Sarah Roque: Army Specialist Faces Charges

A 21-year-old U.S. Army specialist, Wooster Rancy, is facing charges related to the death of 23-year-old Sergeant Sarah Roque, whose body was discovered in a dumpster on a Missouri property. Roque was reported missing from Fort Leonard Wood on October 21.

Authorities have not disclosed the specifics surrounding her death, including the cause or motive.

Rancy has been charged with murder and obstructing justice. Both individuals were assigned to the 5th Engineer Battalion prior to the incident.

Rancy, a Florida native, is currently being held in pretrial confinement as the investigation continues.
