Major Drug Bust in Muskogee: 13 Members of Trafficking Organization Admit Guilt

MUSKOGEE, Okla. KNWA/KFTA — Thirteen members of a drug trafficking organization in Oklahoma have pleaded guilty to federal charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

The group includes Heath Lloyd Taylor, Aaron Guy Key, Mallory Nicole Laird, and others, who admitted to drug conspiracy.

Some defendants, like Cody Wade Reece and Whitney Marie Granite, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, while Heather Leigh Brown pleaded guilty to both methamphetamine and fentanyl distribution.

The indictment revealed that the organization operated from August 2022 until November 2023, engaging in the distribution of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

The investigation was spearheaded by the Drug Enforcement Administration, with support from multiple agencies, including the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, ATF, and the IRS.

All 13 defendants are currently in custody and await sentencing.
