Louisiana Man Sentenced to Five Years for Hitting Squad Cars in Lee and Des Moines Counties

Dustin D. Turner, a 37-year-old from Jonesboro, Louisiana, has been sentenced to a total of ten years in prison.

Turner was sentenced to five years for each count of eluding while exceeding the speed limit by 25 mph or more, assault on persons in certain occupations, and second-degree criminal mischief.

These sentences will run concurrently with each other but consecutively with a five-year sentence he is already serving for a previous burglary conviction.

Turner’s additional charges include eluding, assault on a peace officer with a dangerous weapon, interference with official acts, and several traffic citations.
