With just over three weeks until the November general election, key Iowa Republicans, including Senator Joni Ernst and Iowa 3rd District Representative Zach Nunn, emphasized the importance of voter turnout at a Republican Jam event in Shenandoah.
Nunn, facing a competitive reelection challenge from Democrat Lanon Baccam, highlighted his commitment to delivering results for constituents, including initiatives for rural housing and veterans’ assistance.
He acknowledged that significant campaign funding from national Democratic leaders is expected in the final weeks, but he vowed to outwork his opponent.
Ernst called on Republicans to vote for candidates up and down the ballot, stressing the need to turn out rural voters and ensure their voices are heard.
She noted that early voting begins on October 16th and expressed confidence that Republicans will gain control of both the U.S. House and Senate in the upcoming elections.
