Kamala Harris Teams Up with Barack and Michelle Obama for Georgia, Michigan Campaigns

The 2024 presidential race is intensifying as Vice President Kamala Harris gears up for major get-out-the-vote events with former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama. The trio will focus on two key battleground states, Georgia and Michigan, as Harris seeks to boost early voter turnout.

These high-profile appearances, scheduled for Oct. 24 in Georgia and Oct. 26 in Michigan, coincide with the start of early voting in these crucial states.

This marks the first time Harris has campaigned alongside the Obamas since she became the Democratic nominee following President Biden’s decision not to seek re-election. The Obamas endorsed Harris in July, and their speeches at the Democratic National Convention underscored their support.

With early voting already underway in 40 states, the Harris campaign is pushing to energize supporters and maximize turnout ahead of Election Day on Nov. 5. Both the Harris and Trump campaigns are locked in a fierce contest, with narrow margins in critical battlegrounds making every vote crucial.

Meanwhile, former President Obama has been a key figure in Harris’ campaign, having recently campaigned for her in Pennsylvania, with upcoming stops planned in Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

The involvement of high-profile Democrats like the Obamas is aimed at mobilizing voters and boosting volunteer efforts as the race heads into the final stretch.
