A significant recovery took place in Houston, Texas, when deputies from Harris County Constable Precinct 5 seized a stolen 2025 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Denali Ultimate valued at around $100,000. The truck had been reported stolen from New Jersey earlier in the year.
During a routine traffic stop, the deputies noticed several traffic violations and, upon further inspection, found that the vehicle’s VIN number appeared tampered with and fictitious.
This discovery led to the vehicle’s seizure, and the driver will face further investigation with help from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Auto Theft Division.
