Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders to Join World Economic Forum in Davos to Discuss Youth Mental Health and Presidential Transitions

Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders is set to attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, from January 22-24. She will participate in two panels, one discussing the impact of smartphones and social media on youth mental health, alongside Jonathan Haidt, the author of The Anxious Generation.

The second panel will focus on the role of states in presidential transitions, with Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear also participating.

This trip comes after Sanders advocated for a state ban on student cellphones in schools, an initiative she has supported through a pilot program providing grants to schools implementing the ban. Additionally, Sanders will meet with business leaders to encourage investment in Arkansas.

Her travel is being funded by the Arkansas Economic Development Foundation and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, with First Gentleman Bryan Sanders and Deputy Chief of Staff Judd Deere accompanying her.
