Funny Farm Restaurant in San Jose Burglarized for the Seventh Time

A San Jose eatery, Funny Farm Restaurant, has experienced two burglaries within a month. The restaurant shared the news on Instagram, informing customers and locals about the incidents.

In their post, the restaurant revealed that this marks the seventh time they have been burglarized. They also mentioned that their ADT security system failed to trigger the alarm during the latest break-in.

The restaurant shared a photo showing a masked burglar entering what appears to be the office at 4:31 a.m. on a Saturday. The suspect was wearing a mask, gloves, a hat, and a long-sleeved shirt. Another photo showed shattered glass from a broken window.

On August 13, Funny Farm Restaurant reported that they had been broken into the previous night, tagging District 8 Councilmember Domingo Candelas, who promised to connect with the San Jose Police Department, calling the burglary unacceptable.

A few days later, on August 16, the restaurant updated followers that the broken window had been repaired. Employees arrived on August 15 to find broken glass and discovered from security footage that two suspects had smashed the glass door around 2 a.m. The alarm did go off this time, and the suspects quickly fled in a getaway car.

Funny Farm Restaurant is known for its creative twists on classic dishes and is located at 4898 San Felipe Rd. in San Jose.
