In Cheyenne, lawmakers have unanimously voted to reverse a recent decision that restricted photojournalists’ access to the chamber floors during legislative sessions.
The initial change, approved by the Legislature’s Select Committee on Legislative Facilities, Technology, and Process, had barred photojournalists from the hallways on the chamber floor.
However, following public outcry and media coverage, the issue was revisited during a committee meeting on Thursday, leading to the unanimous decision to restore access for photojournalists.
This development underscores the ongoing dialogue regarding media access and transparency in the legislative process.
