Baltimore, MD — Three teenagers have been taken into custody and sent to Juvenile Booking following a robbery that occurred early Thursday morning.
At approximately 1:10 a.m., police responded to a report of five juveniles stealing items from a store in the 6100 block of Holabird Avenue. According to a store employee, the group attempted to take various items, including the cash register.
Authorities later located several juveniles in an abandoned building nearby.
As a result, three 14-year-olds—a boy and two girls—were arrested. One of the girls was found in possession of a firearm. All three suspects were placed on electronic monitoring following their arrest.
Later that evening, around 7:10 p.m., officers returned to the same store after reports of an assault in progress.
The same two girls attempted to re-enter the store but were asked to leave by employees. Upon the police’s arrival, the suspects allegedly tried to assault a store employee, and one girl spat in an officer’s face.
The girls now face charges related to three separate robberies connected to incidents that occurred on September 27.
It has been reported that they have been arrested multiple times throughout the state.
Authorities continue to investigate the incidents as they work to address juvenile crime in the area.
