SACRAMENTO – On Tuesday morning, a 16-year-old boy was arrested in connection with a shooting in south Sacramento that injured one person.
Sacramento police responded to reports of a shooting near Fruitridge Road and Wallace Avenue just before 5:30 a.m. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot and took him to the hospital. His condition is not known.
Later that morning, police announced they had arrested the 16-year-old suspect, who is now in juvenile hall. The cause of the shooting is still being investigated.
